I was inspired by a version of this tree in one of my many cooking/home magazines.  All you need is some fallen branches, a bucket or pail, and some hanging tags.  I added in clearance branches from Michael's Fall floral department.  The kids have really enjoyed writing their "I am thankful for...." tags.  It is such a great reminder of the reason for this season.

I've gotten so many requests for this super easy Fall project that it was high time to do a tutorial. Enjoy! Supplies needed: craft pumpkins, tissue paper, cut into 2" wide strips by 10-12" long, mod podge, foam brush, a cat to assist you (ha)! I put the mod podge directly on the tissue paper rather than the pumpkin, just easier that way. Work from top to bottom, almost like wallpapering.

I finally did it. I took down the bedding and curtains that Miss Olivia has slept on since she was a baby. I nearly cried. Alas, she is 7 now and needed some "big girl" bedding. It has taken me six months to figure out what to do with her room. It's been a little crazy here lately, sorry fellow followers for the late Easter posting! The Easter tablescape consisted of jars filed with peeps, plastic carrots, jelly beans, and chocolate shaped animals. Cut three strips of chiffon 3" wide by 54" long. Sew the strips together. Oh my goodness! These were too fun to put together and the possibilities are endless! All that is required is a styrofoam cone (any height), feather boas, sewing pins or hot glue for adherence (whichever you prefer), tulle, and ribbon. How cute are they?! So I totally fell in love with a shoe I saw in InStyle magazine like this for $100 and instantly thought; "I can make that for under $20." Here is the final outcome.
